This is what the #MagicTheGathering home page looked like exactly 10 years ago today!
The deck of the day looks like Modern Jund, but its actually Josh Ravitz's Legacy Version!
It's crazy how close it is to the modern list, with just a few nonland differences.
@Splenectomy13 Ooo I love this one!
Especially in limited, people get so caught up with playing efficiently that it's easy to forget that it's often worth spending a card to deal damage
What's the toughest to explain to people who are GOOD at Magic?
I think it's: "2 is not 1 more than 1"
Lightning Bolt isn't just 1 mana better than Lightning Strike and not just 1 damage better than Shock
Players feel this when they play but its weird when you think about it

@CedricAPhillips It was a great event (obv a little biased) but I stood up at the end of the finals and there were only 5 people watching. There wasn't much hype without the features called.
It was fun and intense, but round 19 just felt like another match.
I miss you guys doing coverage.
