NCAA CHAMPION!!!
Chinecherem Prosper Nnamdi ๐ณ๐ฌ has just become the first Nigerian man to win a NCAA Javelin title, sending his implement out to a big first round throw of 82.26m!
He wins the NCAA Championships in Eugene ahead of Keyshawn Strachan who reached a best of 80.65m and Jack Larriviere with 77.91m.
Both of Nnamdi's two throws over 80 metres were good enough for the win.
Religion creates identity, and humans often weaponize identity.
Any strong identity will create boundaries. Once there is โusโ and โthem,โ division is inevitable.
Can religions exist without division? Do we need religion to manifest values?

Is Nigeria cursed, or are we the curse?
The past 10 days in Nigeria have witnessed unprecedented negative news, a level of chaos, insecurity, and institutional decay that should trouble the conscience of all the leaders.
Our country is now going through troubling times, not by fate, but by our collective leadership failures that allow insecurity, lawlessness, and institutional decay to thrive. Each day confronts us with a new tragedy and a new reminder that our beloved country is drifting amid a clear absence of competent, compassionate, responsive and responsible leadership.
We have all watched a nation blessed with people of strength and resilience drift into avoidable disorder. We should be asking ourselves: Are we cursed, or are we the curse?
The past 10 Days in Nigeria
1.11/11/25 โ 6 senior directors from the Ministry of Defence were kidnapped along the Kogi axis, reminding us that even those tasked with securing our nation are no longer safe.
2.15/11/25 โ A senior military officer, a Brigadier General, was brutally executed, a grave signal of the danger engulfing both civilians and security personnel.
3.16/11/25 โ 64 civilians, including women and children, were abducted in Zamfara, with innocent lives also lost in the attack.
4. 17/11/25 โ 25 schoolgirls, young children with dreams and innocence, were abducted in Kebbi and their Vice Principal was killed, adding to the heartbreaking list of attacks on our nationโs future.
5. 18/11/25 โ Worshippers praying peacefully in a church in Kwara State were violently disrupted, with some killed and about 38 abducted. A place of worship, meant to be a sanctuary, became a scene of fear.
6. 18/11/25 โ A disturbing crisis unfolded at the PDP Wadata Plaza headquarters. Instead of de-escalation, elements within the security agencies worsened the situation and further instigated it. Rather than focusing on protecting citizens, the government watched with amusement, encouraging the destruction of political parties and the weakening of our democracy.
7. 18/11/25 โ During the All Nigeria Judgesโ Conference, judges who should embody neutrality and integrity were seen standing as the APC partisan song โOn Your Mandate We Shall Standโ played ahead of the Presidentโs address. This troubling moment further eroded public trust in institutions expected to protect the rule of law.
8. 19/11/25 โ Soldiers heading to rescue the Kebbi State abducted schoolgirls were ambushed, showing once again how undersupported our security forces have become.
9. 21/11/25 โ Nigerians awoke to the devastating news that over 300 schoolchildren and 12 teachers were abducted from a Catholic school in Niger State.
10.22/11/25 โ Bandits opened fire on farmers in Kaduna killing one of them.
23/11/25- Terrorists Ambush, Gun Down 5 Police Officers, Injure 2 in Sabon Sara, Darazo LGA, Bauchi State
November 23, 2025
And just as I was speaking about this, I received yet another devastating report about the abduction of 13 female farmers in Askira-Uba LGA of Borno State today by suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP Terrorists.
No serious nation survives on excuses, indifference, or absentee leadership. What we are witnessing is not inevitable, it is the direct consequence of we the leaders not valuing human life. Nigeria is bleeding because those elected to protect the nation have chosen comfort over courage, politics over people, and power over purpose.
We the leaders must remember that governance is not a title, it is a duty to protect every child, every community, and every citizen. We need competence, compassion, and a government that shows up when it matters the most.
To every Nigerian shaken in these past 10 days, my heart is with you.
You deserve safety, you deserve peace.
We deserve a government that values our lives above politics.
Nigeria must rise again.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
WE ARE FINISHED
Terrorists did not just cross a boundary. They marched straight into the heart of our national security architecture and spat in its face. And the most frightening part is the silence that followed.
A serving General of the Nigerian Army was ambushed with his men. A whole General. Not a recruit. Not a private. A General. The kind of man entire formations salute. The kind of man whose presence alone carries the weight of decades of war experience. The kind of man terrorists should never even dream of touching.
Yet they attacked him.
They captured him.
They killed him.
And they did it with confidence, with coordination, with weapons so sophisticated that you have to ask yourself who is arming these demons and why they are operating with such precision. These are not ragtag criminals anymore. These are well equipped insurgents who now believe they can take on the Nigerian state and win.
And what do we get in response?
Silence.
Denials.
Cold statements as if a General falling in the hands of terrorists is some minor roadside accident.
Where is the rage
Where is the aerial bombardment
Where is the decisive, unforgiving response that should shake the entire forest they crawled out from
Instead, we have a government that will eventually parade these same terrorists as repentant. They will call them rehabilitated. They will reintegrate them into society. Some will even end up wearing the same uniform as the men they butchered. The sheer insult of it should make every Nigerian sick.
Our gallant soldiers are paying the supreme price for a system that refuses to protect them. Men who swore to defend this country with their lives are being slaughtered because leadership refuses to match terrorists fire for fire. Troops are dying deaths they should never die. Ambushed by terrorists who are growing bolder, smarter, and deadlier every passing day.
And nobody is shouting.
Nobody is shaking the table.
Nobody is calling this what it is: a catastrophic national security failure.
A General was killed. A General. If terrorists can capture and kill a General, then every civilian is a sitting target. Every highway is a death trap. Every village is vulnerable. Every soldier in the field is fighting with the knowledge that if the worst happens, the state will issue a press release and move on.
This is beyond unacceptable. This is outrageous. This is infuriating.
Nigeria cannot continue like this. The government must understand the gravity of this moment. The military must respond with unrestrained force. Because if terrorists are allowed to celebrate this victory, they will see themselves not as fugitives but as an army.
And once terrorists begin to believe they are an army, the nation is already in deep trouble.
Enough is enough.
This is the loudest warning Nigeria will get.
@uch3_D_Fanatik@prince_OTMH@BigKensyn@ArinolaAmodu@Ikio_Annabel Arike's been waiting for USA, yet still overlooked. Wonder why they don't want to commit to Nigeria. But I think it's time Rena and NBBF move to get 'em all in. We need better than we are, at the global stage
