PMF leader Falih al-Fayyadh confirmed in a speech on 4. December, 2024 that for every IS terrorist they kill, Iraqi Shia militias lose 10 of their own fighters.
How incompetent and useless are the Iraqi Shia militias if they’re getting worn down by some scattered IS fighters???
The fact that Hamas, even after almost 2 years, is still destroying Israeli vehicles with light weapons like Yassin RPGs, has so far held back its heavy weapons and just rejected an US-proposed ceasefire, shows that they still have the strength to end this war on their terms.
Also interesting is the language used by IS, where the new Syrian security forces are referred to as "apostate regime forces," while Assad's soldiers have always been referred to as "Nusayri soldiers."
The terrorist organization IS has officially claimed responsibility for yesterday's IED attack in Talul Safa in the Suweida desert in southwest Syria, claiming to have killed and injured 7 Syrian security forces.
A very dangerous development:
-For the first time IS has openly admitted to having attacked soldiers of the new Syrian government.
-The attack took place in an area in which IS hadn’t actually carried out any activities for years.
@realhassanx@pmegranatejuice I've never heard or read of any Syrians celebrating the banishment of PIJ (they've never been banned), only the Assadists. The brother above also pointed out that Syrians celebrated the banishment of the pro-Assadists and you're talking about PIJ lol.
Bassam al-Agha, the head of Syria relations for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, confirmed that the PIJ offices in Damascus are still open despite the recent arrests of two PIJ officials and that these arrests were likely for personal reasons: https://t.co/6rvSXZlMIt
@rk74ud If we also take into account the digitalisation of the infrastructure, it could well exceed the pre-war level even faster, but my assessment is based on pure numbers and the current size of the Syrian population.
It’s not unrealistic that Syria could achieve economic growth of 10-22% this year if:
-Electricity increases from 2/3 hours to 10 hours, thereby boosting production and allowing businesses to operate longer.
-Public salaries are boosted by 400%, thereby boosting consumption.
#Syria's Energy Minister @EMAlbasheir just announced that #Syria's population will begin receiving **10hrs** of electricity per day "within a few weeks" as a result of "new gas supplies."
That's a reference to a #Qatar-funded supply via the Arab Gas Pipeline, via #Egypt-#Jordan.
-Arab states like Jordan & Saudi Arabia have higher literacy rates than Iran.
-Arab states like Morocco & Tunisia have a higher density of scientists per capita than Iran.
-Arab states like Saudi Arabia, Tunisia & Kuwait have higher scientific output per capita than Iran.
@BaalQassam@ReginaldDyer01@al_mualim1 iran is more academically and culturally advanced than every arab country combined. you dumb enough to think shit some people do at night after work affects progress? israel isnt going out assassinating syrian or saudi nuclear scientists every year because they dont have any
@jaliustheapeson Dude, I was responding to that Majusi who falsely claims that Iran is more academically advanced than the Arab countries and you're writing me a novel about how shitty the Arabs are. Should we now also throw ourselves in the dust before the Iranians or what?
@jaliustheapeson „…They have zero indigenous scientific workforce…“ Okay, I see you didn't read the link under my post. Besides, this post is a response to this guy who falsely claims that Iran is more academically advanced than Arab countries. Nothing more, nothing less!
