this highlights a major problem in india. the problem is "brain drain". smart people dont want to stay in the country.
smart people get better jobs -> more income -> more income tax -> but not enough facilities to justify the tax amount. oh and dont forget GST
friends abroad prefer paying higher taxes because they get equivalent facilities.
the problem is also trust in our institutions. hard working people generally feel cheated by corruption, expensive healthcare and education, inefficiency and lack of infrastructure.
im not saying that people should settle abroad but if we dont fix these issues, how can we expect them to stay?
Some days you just want to sleep it all off cause you couldn’t get any work done.
