The difference between the way Uganda and South Africa have handled citizens borne in their respective countries to non-native parents is a real condemnation of the South African mindset of xenophobia, which is a legacy of apartheid.

What is even worse is that Mozambique is SA's immediate neighbour, and fought with the Anc, and even Mandela married Samora Machel's widow, he was not xenophobic.
