Just now in the presence of Union Ministers Sh. JP Nadda, Dr. Jitendra Singh and the senior leaders of Apex Body of Leh Ladakh I finally broke my fast after 26 days. Earlier 65 members of parliament from different political parties had visited or signed letters urging me to break the fast. This was done after long negotiations on various conditions and in view of possible violence in the country. I will explain the conditions in detail in a separate video very soon. Meanwhile I urge you all to stay very vigillant about not allowing violence of any kind anywhere.
We demand an immediate apology from the police force and your Govt. Mr Prime minister for the brutal thrashing of innocent students. Hear their voices, don't silence them! 📢 #StandWithStudents@narendramodi
Nadda :
“…for the first time a proposal came from the protesters to hold talks with the government….
How arrogant !
Our fasting children’s proposals were known to all
What was the government doing ?
Watching and waiting to tear-gas and lathi charge them !
Shameful !
We stand in solidarity with the youth of our country.
Their voices deserve to be heard — loud, clear, and without fear. They are the heartbeat of our democracy and the true architects of our nation’s future.
Let us listen, support, and empower them. The energy, courage, and dreams of our young people will shape the India we aspire to build.
Jai Hind.

INNER LINE PASS: The state government fully recognises the critical importance of streamlining the Inner Line Permit (ILP) system and is working on it with all seriousness and dedication.
Chaired the inaugural meeting of the High-Powered Committee on the ILP Framework at Itanagar today. We held extensive deliberations and received valuable suggestions from all stakeholders on building a more robust, efficient, transparent, and future-ready ILP framework for the state.
This first sitting was attended by the member secretary Shri Ranphoa Ngowa (IFS), Secretary (Political), along with the committee members consisting of representatives from Govt. officials, security agencies, Arunachal Indigenous Tribal Forum (AITF), All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU), Arunachal ST Bachao Andolan Committee (ASTBAC), legal experts and academia.
Our Government is committed to protecting the interests of the indigenous people of our state while ensuring an effective and responsive ILP regime for the future.
As the Chairperson of the High-Powered Committee constituted to review and strengthen the Inner Line Permit (ILP) system, had visited the Banderdewa Check Gate and Banderdewa Police Station while en route to Kanubari.
Interacted with the police personnel and officials of the ILP issuing authority to understand the challenges in verifying ILPs and enforcing the system.
Had a constructive discussion on the existing issues and possible measures to further strengthen its implementation.
Valuable inputs from ground zero are vital ingredients that may strengthen initiatives to have perfect system in place in this frontier state.
It was a privilege to pay a courtesy call on Sri Shivraj Singh Chouhan ji, Hon’ble Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare at Lok Bhawan, Itanagar, late this evening.
Hon’ble Union Minister is on a two-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh to review the flood situation and interact with the concerned authorities.
We discussed the state’s agricultural priorities and the need for continued support to our farmers.
Grateful for his continued meaningful guidance and support, as always.
My warmest congratulations and greetings to Major Laichat Wangpan on his promotion to the rank of Major in the Indian Army.
As the first from the Wancho community to achieve this milestone, he has etched his name in history and made the entire state incredibly proud.
Wishing him a highly successful and safe tenure ahead filled with greater achievements.
