days 9 to 19:
-finished up experiemnts and drafts on an ai safety paper for neurips workshop
-defined direction for vid models research
-planned 3dv research for cvpr instead, got intro to other jnterns by my prof
-statrted work on sih proj too

days 4 to 8:
-got mostly good results on my baseline and ablation for rl paper
-joined an independent research group working w ai stuff kinds fun ppl
- just presented an openai paper for the uiuc session this week, went well, have to submit proposal by next week
-gre practice too

starting off independece day with research grp meeting at 12 am 🫡🥱 was a fun meeting tho

day 3
-did gre practice
-internship work, the captions are still missing at some places but kind of improved in others, was told my eval went good ig
-finished my medium article and submitted draft to towards ai
-running experiments for some research project and ran out of creds

just got done with the Adobe test sql was okayish but the dsa was a sort of arrays question....I was thinking I might be getting trees or dp as others. damn

day 2
-did gre practice
-did my internship work
-started writing my first medium article on 3dgs
-had call with phd guy im working with to revamp the whole idea we were thinking of since few months.....this idea feels much better though

restarting my logs with day 1 today
- had Logitech hack, the weirdest one I have even done and also most tiring, spent half the time losing wifi at the place and 403 errors for everyone...ya didnt get through
-did some gre practice coz had headache
-had my first uiuc++ srse cls

an update after long - just deployed my productivity app on the web which I made to help myself but yeah will be putting it out soon

2026 so far
- gave my toefl got a pretty nice score
-applied for research internships, got rejected
-submitted for icip, that got rejected too
-working in research remotely in topics of vid. models, 3dv and rl, learning in progress
-got open source internship

finished 3 weeks of c4gt internship and here's what's done so far:
-got a good baseline video for 5 mins test with properly gated captions using silerovad
-no spamming anymore, rich scene context w. florence model
-tested for hindi captions now on 22 min. video and doing well

didn't make it through to phase 3 of samsung ennovatex, going to explore the problem in depth to make it even more robust now

been a week since I started on c4gt
-revamped the existing pipeline i used in demo to use vision models+mapping+sentence transformers to create meaningful captions of project
-comparing on PANNs and BEATs on old video but the result still fall short a bit
annoying but fun 😅

ok so fun week this was
-did like 1/4 of my RL paper
-starting off my c4gt internship w. exploring new models and got okayish results on them
-got my sem results back 9.85 🥳
-exploring 3dv into vr and video models too
got my full next week off and excited to get back on track

-started drafting my rl paper with iit kgp prof
-got better grasp into lipsync research for a project
-exploring methods to take my rejected cv paper
-training pipeline for Samsung hack
