@CommanderRedEXE@Porpidminom @MillerMatthew20 @Ear_O_Corn@JohnAmanda76934@NatashaCL7 @Waw_Adrian Percentages of offenders in each group would be the fairer way to compare them. But even then, there are lots of variables to take into account beyond that simple comparison. The most important thing is whether those percentages are decreasing year on year.
@CommanderRedEXE@Porpidminom @MillerMatthew20 @Ear_O_Corn@JohnAmanda76934@NatashaCL7 @Waw_Adrian You're arguing two different points, which in both cases are pushing your own narrative.
There are significantly more teachers than priests, so comparing numbers of offenders and claiming that the church is doing more to combat the problem is not a fair conclusion either.
@great_unwoke@hughjbrown @DrakesReturn @Bbmorg It's not a false equivalence, kids might need more protection in general, but that doesn't mean adults don't need protection as well.
@BigBaldDr @thatsnotmine125 @doctor_dru_ currently around 27k for more recent graduates. Other loans will continue until paid off, students loans will be written off after a certain period.
No easy way to compare them. 2/2
@BigBaldDr @thatsnotmine125 @doctor_dru_ Purely on the comparison issue, it's very difficult to compare student loans with any other loans. Any other loan has a repayment every month (or other term) no matter what. Student loans have no repayments unless you're earning over a certain threshold, 1/2
@AresCSGO_ @thepetnationn @HumansNoContext I'm in the UK, when you get beyond basic maths skills, you would normally write in fractions rather than using division symbols.
@AresCSGO_ @thepetnationn @HumansNoContext A mathematician wouldn't write a statement like that, precisely because it is ambiguous. It's very rare you use division symbols at all, because fractions are clearer on meaning.
@DuhPlxsma @AresCSGO_ @thepetnationn @HumansNoContext Okay, sorry, I'll hand back my A-levels, S-Level, degree and teaching qualification and find a new career.

@bbctms if Cummins is taking all the wickets, England have the draw in the bag! At 45 balls per wicket, even 35 overs wouldn't be enough to get all six. #ashes#bbccricket

Using a semicolon like this is more usual with places: "London, England; Paris, France; and Berlin, Germany."
