@vidythatte interesting concept, but it currently looks terrible, loads slowly, and probably burns a lot of tokens unnecessarily. I imagine those things may get better over time. In which case, what do you think is the real use case here?
@Proper_Memes@BurnsideWasTosh@ZackPolanski Not his biggest fan but I think he’s just trying to say there shouldn’t be these means for extremely wealthy to navigate their way out of paying a fair share of tax bills
@CompositeGuy_ Gary is ridiculous to me. He ruined almost all of his relationships and his own health in the pursuit of money and now preaches about wealth extraction being evil like he wasn’t a part of it
@gregisenberg I don’t think so. They aren’t addictive enough. BeReal had a good thing going but lost momentum because the novelty of being “real” wore off. Sad world we live in I’m afraid
@0xmoreofthesame@owenbotkin good point but what’s more important is the proportion of toxic flow vs innocent flow. a sport market may have a higher proportion of innocent flow. Clinical trials could have the opposite. Try providing liquidity there - one day you’ll get run over bad!
@owenbotkin Agree with the intention of the exchange but I think you’re underestimating the difficulty in getting genuine flow vs toxic flow. Hedgers/speculators have some non trivial probability of getting picked off by insiders
@0xmoreofthesame@owenbotkin I think it’s just quite damaging for the general crypto ecosystem - turning everything into https://t.co/aULryMK9bi is not great for credibility? who is gonna provide liquidity? If you go to “hedge” you’ll only ever get adversely selected against!
@iamlukethedev Fantasy premier league is human vs human based on other human performance - feels very different. Fifa/FC already has a traditional football algorithmic “AI” that you can play against - what’s materially different about getting LLMs to play?
