@RUD3D0GG I respectfully think that the writing just isn't strong enough to not be considered slop
I think that at best its just pacing issues at worst its just not deep enough writing to me
Having the entire cast be alive irl makes it lack any bite as well imo
@RUD3D0GG But it does end with the rest of the cast holding hands and everything is tied up in a little bow
especially with the end credits being the gang having fun without jax 😭😭
The ending was slop, jax doesn't even transition in the real world 😭
TADC fandom is 80% woke people with mental illnesses validating each in an echo chamber, and when you step out of line they start with the: “CIS PEOPLE NEED TO DIE” “Oomfs get them” “my babygirl Jax did nothing wrong” “BLAH BLAH BLAH”
Cult behavior
TRANSPHOBIA + SEXUAL ASSAULT IN THE SAME SCENE DONE BY THE ONLY CANONICAL TRANS WOMAN IN THE SHOW
YES GOOSE WRITE A BAD TRANS CHARACTER WHILE WE ALL GET SHOT YESSS
That finale was utter doodoo, especially from a writing perspective... like, they could have had all the abstractions break loose; had 'Abel' (the 2.0 AI) show up and help concretize the abstractions with backups Cain hoarded. But nah, it was literally an hour of trauma dump...
Goose could say Pomni’s character was based off of Abraham Lincoln and the fandom would be like: “well Goose confirmed it on a Bluesky post and the hints in the show are SO obvious, like there was literally a whole adventure where she was the president. You are media illiterate”
@shrapstako65050 I wasn’t saying that’s a bad thing (my issue with the SOMA reveal was more of how the episode refused to do anything interesting with it by having the characters quickly get over it than that it happened), just that it’s silly to pretend TADC never confirmed any theories
