Indian earthquake assistance reaches Kabul by air.
21 tonnes of relief materials including blankets, tents, hygiene kits, water storage tanks, generators, kitchen utensils, portable water purifiers, sleeping bags, essential medicines, wheelchairs, hand sanitizers, water purification tablets, ORS solutions and medical consumables were airlifted today.
India will continue to monitor the ground situation and send more humanitarian aid over the coming days.

Annual Joint Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief #HADR#Exercise#GeneralUpendraDwivedi#COAS, witnessed the Multilateral Annual Joint Humanitarian & Disaster Relief #HADR #Exercise #SanyuktVimochan2024. The exercise brought together all agencies involved with disaster relief efforts signifying the necessity of Whole of Govt approach. Notably, there were 15 international participants from nine friendly foreign countries.
In his closing remarks, #COAS brought out that #Exercise #SanyuktVimochan2024 had successfully showcased the practical execution of rescue and relief plans through an integrated, multi-agency, multi-lateral disaster response, while showcasing indigenous #HADR equipment promoting #AtmanirbharBharat.
The representative from Ministry of External Affairs #MEA explained the challenges and lessons learnt in coordinating #HADR actions beyond borders. The best practices shared by representatives from #Malaysia and #Maldives contributed significantly to experiential learning of all participants.
#COAS thanked the #Gujarat State Government and industrial partners, including #FICCI and the Abhyuday Group, for their support and active involvement in the #Exercise. He also commended all participants for their dedication, especially the #Southern Army Command, for organising and executing the #Exercise with professionalism and excellence.

India has dispatched 15 tons of aid to Nigeria 🇳🇬 to provide support to those affected by the devastating floods in the country.
External Affairs Ministry (@MEAIndia) said a further assistance of 60 tons of aid will be sent in due course.
The aid comprises food, sleeping mats, blankets, water purification supplies and other relief items.
🇮🇳 sends humanitarian assistance to Lebanon.
A total of 33 tons of medical supplies are being sent. First tranche of 11 tons of medical supplies was dispatched today.
The consignment comprises of a wide range of pharmaceutical products, including cardiovascular medications, NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), anti-inflammatory agents, antibiotics and anesthetics.
