4/ Scared and seemingly helpless, my father was coerced into transferring all his hard earned savings to save the family. The scammers assured that as soon as the matter is solved the money will be transferred back to his account after a week.

9/ These frauds who operate in such a planned way, are an open challenge before the govt & the common man.
I am writing this post not just to ask for help but also to spread awareness among people who have unwittingly become victim of such crimes but have not raised voice-

3/ Under immense pressure,he felt compelled to not share any of this, not even with my mother. The scammers monitored his every activity through Whatsapp check-ins for 4 (yes!) days.

1/ My father, a former Central govt employee who served the nation for 35+ years, was coerced into transferring a huge sum of approx INR 60 Lakhs to an IndusInd Bank account under false threats of arrest

2/ He received a call on Nov 11 from an unknown WhatsApp number. The scammer, impersonating a police officer, stated that a most wanted criminal was using his identity for money laundering involving a drug racket case and other illegal activities.
