I would like to bring in attention the injustice happening with the Foreign medical graduates :

1. Imagine being in the midsession of your internship completion or already qualified FMG Exam and you get to know you have been imposed with new guidelines by NMC which mandates you to do 2 year of internship instead of 1 year
This is what happened to FMGs !

2. After Internship completion permanent registration was withheld by state medical councils due to NMC’s public notice on July 28, 2022, due to misinterpretation

3. Over 18 states, including Gujarat, Bihar, and Karnataka, Telangana granted PR and undergoing postgraduate degrees.

4. PR withheld by Punjab, Delhi (issued until October), J&K, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Haryana (issued till April)

There is no uniformity in application of this rule along with being forceful implementation retrospectively in just few states. while most of the states given the PR to those who started or completed their internship before NMC notice of July 28,2022
