It's good that not all people understand how credit card works which help intelligent people like us to use it to the full potential and maximise the rewards.
👋Hello @HardeepSPuri, I have a very polite Query?
Why don't I have the option to buy fuel without ethanol at petrol pumps?
If the government wants, it can charge different taxes on different fuel grades.
But why am I being forced to buy a mixed product when my vehicle is not compatible even with E10 or E20?
Why am I forced to buy something, I did not choose, using money that I earned and already paid taxes on?
Or you have any internal setting with Nitin Gadkari on the Income being generated on selling a blended product to citizens?
🤔🤔
👋Hello @nitin_gadkari ji, just want to pull your attention..
These are toll plazas in the UAE.
They work almost exactly like the FASTag system in India.
You can cruise through at 120 km/hr without slowing down.
No blocked lanes.
No barriers.
No men standing in front of vehicles.
No traffic jams.
No drama.
Meanwhile, back in India, even after FASTag, we still have long queues, fixed block lanes and huge traffic snarls.
And if your tag has a technical issue or low balance, a simple argument can escalate into harassment or even violence over a few hundred rupees.
So what's the point of FASTag if we still can't provide a smooth, hassle-free toll experience?
I've noticed that one of the most common mistakes ambitious people make is believing that happiness is waiting on the other side of achievement.
In behavioral science, we call this the arrival fallacy. It's the idea that once you reach the next milestone, get the promotion, earn the recognition, or accomplish the goal, you'll finally feel fulfilled.
But satisfaction doesn't come from arriving. It almost always comes from making progress toward something meaningful. That's why goals are important, but they are not the reward. The pursuit is.
SBI bought NSE shares in 1993 at ₹0.80/share.
Today they're exiting via OFS at ~₹2,000.
8 crore shares. ₹6.5 crore invested. ₹16,000 crore out.
25%+ CAGR over 33 years.
Your FD is giving you 7%.
If your ambition fades with age, you don't really have it in your blood.
- That's an "interest," not a passion.
- It's a "job," not obsession.
True, deep passions stick with you for life...
It's hard to live with, and never stops.
Real Ambition is a Monster.
Refreshing to see Global Crude Oil prices sitting again at $75 from $125 (per barrel) during war times.
Ideally, Petrol should be priced what it was before the hike and same for the LPG gas now.
Second, the panic & madness to blend more ethanol should be over too when supply chain is fixed.
@tehseenp@rish_ranjan 70% of the customers know nothing
Government knows that, brands know that… banks know that.
Welcome in the era of use & throw cars.
Give your mind a break. From people. From phones. From the constant hustle of life. Spend some alone time just with yourself. Do nothing. Be bored. Stare at a crack in the wall. Look out the window. Watch how shadows move. Listen to a piece of music that's 300 years old. Read Hegel. Read Aristotle. Read Dostoevsky. The minds that are still relevant today. Slow down enough to experience things deeply again. Don't consume something just because it's trending. Be loyal to your own curiosities. Your own interests. Your own idiosyncrasies. If you want to live a life that feels alive, protect the parts of yourself this world keeps trying to distract you from.
The lack of transparency in a so-called "democracy" is appalling.
@PetroleumMin now disposes my RTI appeal that they've fulfilled my request by forwarding my query to different agencies. WOW. And to top it off, the ministry points back to the same roadmap document in which @siamindia clearly says that e20 in older vehicles is a safety risk in addition to being detrimental to efficiency. The document clearly says that e10 should be available till the existing fleet is aged out.
And yet e20 has been forced on the entire population based on some imaginary test results.
If this isn't a SCAM, I don't know what is.
Why is everything about ethanol so secretive?
If the government is so confident about ethanol as the future fuel, shouldn't it rather be educating the public with scientifically backed research reports?
Instead, it wants to hide the reports, naming it as "classified".

If Maharashtra (Mumbai, Pune) is going through severe water crisis & Maharashtra is one of India's largest sugarcane-producing states
If 1 litre of ethanol inside a modern distillery typically requires ~3–5 litres of water and can have a total water footprint running into thousands of litres (depending on the feedstock), how is the water trade-off being evaluated in a water-stressed country?
India has now reached 20% ethanol blending.
Energy security matters. Water security does too.
What am I missing?
I've worked my ass off to buy the car that I currently own which I bought 5 years ago (May 2021). Everytime I was between jobs with no income, ensuring the car EMI got deducted on time was the top most priority on my mind. The emotional connect that me or anyone has with their car is something you can't quantify. A small dent or scratch on it, I used to feel bad for an entire day. And today, I'm being FORCED to DESTROY my own car with my own hands due to this mindless #Ethanol blending policy of this man called #NitinGadkari. With 'Zero Ethanol' petrol hardly available in any fuel station and costing almost 170 Rs per litre wherever rarely available, I'm forced to fill my car up with this E20 Petrol and my car is literally choking and dying a slow death. I could see a major drop in mileage and AC performance ever since this Ethanol nonsense was introduced. I kept quiet for so many months hoping this nonsense would be rolled back after the whole backlash but now with E30, E85 and even E100 being introduced, I'm speechless. Even if you buy a brand new E20 compatible car today, it's already incompatible with the E30 and above fuel blends that are being forced down our throats.
I'm not an active supporter of any political party but have always been a staunch opposer and critic of the Congress. But dear @narendramodi ji, if Mr. @nitin_gadkari is not shown the door and this Ethanol nonsense is not rolled back, I already know who I'm voting for next and it's NOT the BJP.
Thank you for the attention to this matter.
You're supposed to use every unfair advantage you have. Looks, genetics, connections, dad's money, whatever.
There's nothing noble about choosing the hardest path just to feel like an underdog.

@DealsDhamaka On selling, first the pre bonus or split shares will get sold, thus causing long or short term loss, but the new shares that you received have cost 0, it adjusted the average in the app, but cdsl has the original buy price
