Reminder.

[Gurgaon LIVE! @gurgaon_live]

Driving from Delhi to Gurgaon at night, the contrast in road dust is stark. Gurgaon has become a dust bowl, and even as another pollution season begins, the local administration has done nothing about it all year.

Dear Government 🤐

No helmet? ₹1,000.
Signal jump? ₹5,000.
No parking? ₹1,000.
Triple seat? ₹5,000.
Plastic? ₹5,000.

Potholes? 🤫
Broken signals? 🤫
Unrepaired roads? 🤫
Illegal banners? 🤫
Encroached footpaths? 🤫
Overflowing garbage? 🤫
No streetlights? 🤫

Amazing system.

Citizens have rules.
Citizens have fines.
Citizens have responsibilities.

But accountability? Apparently, that’s optional.

Our efforts. Their enjoyment.

Time to change this.

@Rao_InderjitS @cmohry @NayabSainiBJP @BJP4Haryana We supported you and gave you the mandate to turn #Gurgaon into a world-class city. After 12 years, all we got is garbage, waterlogging and infrastructure unworthy of a major economic hub. We feel cheated. @narendramodi

[Neha Patel @Neha_S_Patel]

They literally took Swachh Bharat Cess from taxpayers in the name of cleaning India.

12 years later, garbage is still rotting on our roads.

So where the hell did all that money go?

Into cleaning India or cleaning Govt's image?

[Jitte @bhadana]

Faridabad Police never acts against goons linked to politicians or police itself.

Hundreds of tinted, numberless scary cars roam freely, spreading terror.

I can share this car’s number, but @FBDPolice won't act.

@police_haryana and @BJP4Haryana empower criminals.

🚨 Kids like Bittu Tabahi and Asif Hindustani have done more for the country than all the municipalities combined and that too, free of cost.

We need to stop #Corruption in all public offices. One of the less known corrupt offices is that of District Registrar and State Registrar under @Raonarbir. Many complaints have gone to him. Why doesn't the system improve? Let's be responsible for fixing the problem at the root. Listen in. @cmohry

Imagine resigning from your job after receiving an offer from a company
only to be told, "Sorry, the business team did not approve it."

Something very similar happened to a friend of mine.

A friend referred him to Teradata.

He cleared the entire interview process

DSA Round
System Design Round
Hiring Manager Round

After clearing all the rounds, HR sent him an offer.

He already had another offer, so he negotiated with HR.

Teradata revised the offer and sent him a new one.

He was told that once the business approval was completed, the relocation team would contact him.

Trusting the offer and everything communicated by HR,

he resigned from his current company and started serving his notice period.

The entire interview, negotiation, offer process had already taken almost a month.

Then, suddenly, HR called.

"The business team is not approving this offer."

That’s it.

Offer cancelled.

No concrete reason.
No alternative role.
No further negotiation.

And the most worrying part ?

He had already resigned.

If he did not have another offer in hand,

he could have literally ended up unemployed simply because the company changed its internal decision.

Yes, business requirements can change.

But candidates also make major life decisions based on these offers.

They resign.
They turn down other opportunities.
They prepare to relocate.
They make financial commitments.

For the company, cancelling an offer might just be an internal decision,

But for the candidate, that same decision can completely derail their career plans.

Perhaps the harshest corporate lesson here is

Until every internal approval is completely finalized, never treat a job offer as 100% guaranteed.

Because a company can cancel an offer in a single meeting,

while the candidate may have already taken the biggest next step in their life based on that offer.

These 2 civil servants are just doing their job rightfully, That’s all. Yet this feels rare says a lot about our broken systems. Imagine if every bureaucrat showed the same commitment to their duty. India can still be fixed one department at a time!
