Tesla is valued as a bargain and SpaceX at IPO heavily overvalued and overhyped.

It will take many years for SpaceX to grow into its valuation, and for that to happen, a great many things must go perfectly well. An investment horizon should be scheduled in decades and not years.

Tesla, on the other hand, has already proven its business model and is launching its most profitable business segment in 2026 with massive profit inflow expected in 2027 and beyond.

Its a no brainer.

I don’t know if financial rewards being released in future milestones / tranches tied to mission goals is going to motivate Elon beyond the mission itself.

The voting control was a legitimate driver for him to reach those tranches.

Having a higher market valuation in general and especially with the combined companies would provide liquidity for capex and R&D, for which the financial rewards won’t need to supplement the already large liquidity optionality by Elon.

I’m happy with owning both SpaceX and Tesla shares regardless as a TSLA shareholder 😅

I do think it does inhibit the primary motivating factors for Elon once he has majority ownership of shares. Again I trust in Elon to make the right decisions for his companies, shareholders, and humanity 🚀
