@PatrickHeizer I'd lean toward making healthcare universal separate from this, and instead tie college education to this broadened national service regime and make it highly incentivized instead of mandatory
@PatrickHeizer I'm all seriousness though, I think this idea would be more interesting if it involved a much broader range of options for national service...from working in schools, to climate transitions WPA style work, to some sort of seasonal farmwork corps.
@DamianPMason but diversification wouldn't have to = complete abandonment of corn soy, it could be a mass adoption of longer rotations that include off years with grazed cover crops and an increase in pasture beef production displacing current grassfed imports and some feedlot beef
@DamianPMason I think your point is well taken about the massive scale of the corn/soy acreage not being easy to transition into completely new crop types.
@JasonHanson2028@TornadoNate@JeffMurphy10 Especially when you factor in the agrivolteic possibilities too. Agrivolteic solar land probably is being treated better than conventional cropland
@Chicago_NFL I feel like we'll see a lot of Luther Burden or Rome Odunze rotating into the slot and that would create a space for Jahdae Walker on the outside and those scenarios
@jacobinfante24@WCGridiron I'd love to see your profile the best blitzing inside linebackers, or tweener players that could be converted into that role. I have a feeling that Dennis Allen could use a player like that really well
