April’s full Moon—nicknamed the pink Moon—rises tonight, 4/12. But don’t let its nickname fool you, the color of the Moon will remain unchanged tonight. Rather, its name comes from the springtime bloom of the pink flowers seen in North America this month!

Tonight, the frost Moon—also known as the beaver Moon—rises in the night sky after sunset. Since this full Moon will be just under 225,000 miles away from Earth, it is a supermoon! 🌕
