Our newest recruits have arrived and they have exceeded our expectations! It seems as if the hand of Providence is at work within our fleet. After the hard campaigns of the last few years, morale for the fleet (and, admittedly, myself) has been dangerous low.

Who can forget the traitorous actions of Captain Brown? However, that is in the past, and I shall not mention his cowardly actions. With these new recruits, we seem to be moving forward with greater speed than ever before! The fleet remains strong.

Amazing news! The hated Baltimore fleet, unable to withstand the the Californian artillery, has been sunk! General Rivers reportedly mocked the injured from Baltimore, which caused much laughter among the men.

There has been much talk amongst those on shore of the so-called traitors and deserters in our fleet, namely captain Bell and, more recently, captain Brown. I would like to say something of those rumors to clear the air.

Captain Brown’s second-in-command, First Mate Schuster, has the potential for success in this navy. He has an impressive resume, having already killed more opponents faster than any other officer in military history. However, some of this success might be due to Captain Brown.

The men are ready to train hard for our next campaign. Although this past campaign was a slight disappointment (due to a failure of our short-term allies), the men are ready to drill more until we are battle-ready.
