@naiivememe And at the end of the movie? He marries her (basically). And can’t wait to be with her. It’s an immature man who talks as he did in that scene.
Also……….. GREAT movie!
@AndrewYang Agreed. However, the voters have every opportunity to vote for representatives who will not gerrymander. They don’t seem to want to do that. 🤷♂️
@charliekirk11 This Spanish speaker (well, let’s not oversell, but it’s been confirmed to me by a native Mexican) can tell you that she said it wrong anyways. Correct translation of what she said is "I am proud to be Guatemalan first being an American".
@foidbabyalien@InfinitumSolus@StefanMolyneux So……. someone’s gotta do those crappy jobs. We don’t wanna. You don’ wanna. Who doin’ dat den? Maybe robots. With all dat edumacation we won’t need no longer, y’all will have to figure that out too I guess.
@BSitko@Yousavewithus@SpeakerJohnson Why doesn’t the Atheist have to keep their religion in their house, and in their church? How come their religion gets practiced in school? They get the kind of prayer (no prayer at all) their religion demands. How come that religion is OK?
@Yousavewithus@SpeakerJohnson Well, that’s a loaded question. The answer is yes. Just like everyone else does. But before answering that, we need to agree that there is no such thing as not enforcing any dogma at all. Just choosing which one will be enforced. Agreed?
@Yousavewithus@SpeakerJohnson That isn’t possible. And right now Atheism and the values of that religion are being enforced. Such as prohibitions against praying in school.
@RodRosenstine@SpeakerJohnson It’s not going well there. I agree. I choose Christianity. My point is we have to choose someone’s. There’s no such thing as nobody’s values being imposed.
@Yousavewithus@SpeakerJohnson Well, same question back to you? Should your dogma be imposed on me? Or should the Atheist’s? Or the Muslim’s? Or the Christian’s? Whose dogma gets to be imposed? Cause it can’t be nobody’s.
@RodRosenstine@SpeakerJohnson Yes. As is Christianity. Let’s see which one most of the people want to support. The religion of Atheism has had its turn for many decades now. And it has sucked at it.
@lyssa_fella@SpeakerJohnson I’m no fan of Christofascism. But I’m also not a fan of the tyranny of Atheism I’ve been living under in this country my entire lifetime.
@Yousavewithus@SpeakerJohnson That holds for the religion of Atheism too, right? The religion that has been legislating its beliefs and forcing those beliefs down the throats of the rest of us for a century at least.
@johngalt1970@SpeakerJohnson You’ve made his point. And very well, I might add. Correctly condemning the immorality of those priests. Immorality (aka a lack of virtue) destroys our society. Thus the health of our republic depends on a virtuous populace, as the Founders told us.
