Spotify announces new “Reserved” feature, which will allow artists to set aside concert tickets for fans on the platform.

It will use streams, shares and other forms of activity to identify an artist’s most dedicated fans and hold two tour tickets for them.

The fans will then have a day-long window to purchase the tickets.

I haven’t seen Harry since 2021 I think in Orlando because he doesn’t really tour multiple cities, but this is still not an excuse. Even if phones are not out, I’m paying $$$ to still be able to see the artist unless my view says obstructed on the ticket

#HarryStyles’ tour rep has responded to complaints online from fans who paid for special “VIP” floor tickets but found their views obscured by the 10-foot-tall walkways:

“The floor concept was designed to give fans freedom of movement and the ability to experience the show from different positions, rather than being confined to one fixed viewing angle,” the statement reads. “That open, free-flowing floor experience has always been an essential part of Harry’s live shows. A small area of the staging in specific floor positions appears to have had a restricted sightline. Those areas are being reviewed carefully and adjusted where possible in compliance with all safety restrictions.”

Sources tell Variety that adjustments are expected to be made in the coming days.

@taylorrsmith It was! I was front row for one of my shows, easy Ticketmaster process and secured my vip seats. Got to enjoy the lounge and didn’t have to worry about anything

Most of his fans are in their 20s-30s now, GA floor just does not work well lol. Niall I’m too old for this, so now I’ll be seeing you from a lower level seat and not up close 🫠

@taylorrsmith That’s why I save up money, so I can pay the high prices to be in the first couple rows, not to spend all day in line just so I can secure a spot near the front and not even get to go to the bathroom or enjoy the vip perks because I want a good standing spot
