I believe this case is incredibly unfair. If he is sent to prison, the entire justice system will come under public scrutiny like never before.

He was attacked by three men. In my view, while clearly disorientated, he struck out at a police officer.

The police then asked the public not to share these videos. But Cody's story need to be told.

To me, Cody Harper was the victim, not the criminal.

It is incredible how quickly the courts can prosecute young white men they will even keep the courts open 24 hrs to conduct these prosecutions.

Astonishingly, if you break into our country at our expense (criminal offence), you remain here in a beautiful hotel fed and watered because of the backlog in the system. Why can't we open the courts 24 hrs a day to deport these people?

This shocking footage is from an incident in Birmingham.

Enough is enough.

The public deserve a full explanation of what happened, why the apparent victim was arrested, and whether every person involved will now be identified and investigated.

We will also be writing to the Police and Crime Commissioner demanding answers about this incident, the force’s Race Action Plan, and the training and guidance given to officers.

West Midlands Police is now recruiting a new Chief Constable after the previous Chief Constable left following the Maccabi Tel Aviv fiasco. This is a chance to reset the force.

The next Chief Constable must put public safety, operational independence and equal treatment under the law first - not political fashion or race-based policing.

Race Action Plans have created a culture in which officers are encouraged to see people differently because of race, with the effect of undermining confidence that white victims and suspects will be treated fairly.

The new Chief Constable must be clear: one law, one standard of policing and equal protection for everyone in the West Midlands.

The police watch on and wait until you are on the floor before moving in to arrest YOU.

The police make no attempt to arrest your assailants, letting them run off without consequence.

The police call you a “dick”.

The police then put a statement out claiming they are satisfied with the conduct of the officers.

The police demand the footage proving their statement to be false not be shared.

All because the Police ‘Race Action Plan’ demands officers do not “over police” black people.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

The Tories introduced these disgusting programs to force police to be institutionally racist against white people.

Labour continues them.

Reform will ABOLISH all Race Action Plans and ensure EVERYONE IS TREATED EQUALLY.

We all know exactly why you don’t want this video to be shared. Your officers were already on the scene, they stood by and watched the white lad get knocked down, then only moved in to arrest him once he was back on his feet. Have you still not learned anything from Henry’s case? This is disgusting and completely unacceptable. The officers involved must be properly investigated, and the man should be released immediately.
