The clout whores. The content strumpets.
No line they won't cross. No shred of moral restriction.
No consciousness of proxified humanity.
Horrid hollow enclaves whose only driving compass is the smell of mint.
Irrevocably depraved abominations.
The rich man raises his children to be leaders, they're taught to question everything and to always stand up for themselves,
The poor man raises his children to be servants, never to question authority figures, and the teachers at school reinforces this by oppressing them daily.
A lot of things in African countries are made needlessly complex because of a lack of processes.
I did surgery in a hospital and the airline says I need a note from the hospital to allow them suspend my ticket as I can't travel for at least six weeks.
Hospital surgery is world class but admin processes are insane. I had to physically go there, wait almost 3 hours before I was told to pay for a medical report that would not be ready today.
This makes me more convinced than ever that healthcare needs more tech than any sector in Africa. The processes around healthcare delivery are a bigger problem than the delivery. So many things need automation.
Surprisingly, they didn't waste any time to take my money.
Paying 46 million naira annually for your child to get the experience of an average Chinese public school student.
This country has robbed TOO MUCH from us. Too much.
This is why when faced with Sankara's dilemma of 'water for all or champagne for a few', smart nations always choose water for all.
Because when everyone has a solid baseline, the elite can truly thrive and become exceptional. Their "champagne" can be meaningful.
But when most people are dirt poor, the elite become stupid, mediocre bastards who cannot pave their own roads, organise their own garbage collection, and prevent their own Ikoyi from regular flooding, constant foul odour, and mosquito infestation.
Charterhouse my ass.
Dear Men, that mentality that you can ‘save’ someone from going wayward has to d!e immediately.. that’s the beginning of your frustration..
If her Father, brothers, uncles, school teachers and all the Male figures in her life couldn’t save her, what do you think you can do ?
Convert her to sarewagba if you figure she’s not cultured from home my bro.
You do NOT owe anyone ‘training’.. they either come trained from home or you help them attain destruction.
Are Nigerians that mumu ni?
Bruh Top Tech CEOs go to lecture at Harvard.
The founder of coursera still lectures at Stanford.
Why Nigerians mumu like this? 🤦
Nigerians cannot fathom being extremely wealthy and staying humble or appearing unassuming.
In this part of the world, affluence, ego and arrogance has to accompany such wealth without which it is seen as an anomaly.
That’s the whole problem. If it costs $600m to win, then power becomes an investment and every investment needs a return. That return comes out of public funds. We don’t elect leaders, we underwrite businessmen.
"In 1987, American Express introduced platinum card for 5000 people, here is mine, they later introduced the Black card (Centurion card) in 1999 for 1000 people on the planet, here is mine. I had a viable business and while I don't regret going into Politics, it made me poorer." - Peter Obi, NDC Presidential Candidate.
They don't want people to figure out that if they just get off their arse they can fix their own community in 2 weeks. They want you to keep paying them taxes so they can fix your community for you. In 3 years. Maybe. Probably not.
Dangote is selling fuel for cheaper to Togo than it is to Nigeria.
Dangote cement is cheaper in Ghana than it is in Nigeria.
Nigeria provided the cheap USD, raw materials and policies that made these businesses possible.
Why are we getting the shorter end of the stick?
