@MsHereth I used it for this exact purpose in the spring and it was perfect.

@MsHereth Mapquest! Website not app. You can enter a list of addresses and it will map the route. Just make sure to check the settings for shortest route not order you enter. Then you can send the route to the app.

@fawnpnguyen Waiting for child at orthodontist so...5 15s gets 75. Need to take off 2/15. 15 goes into 20 1 5/15 or 1 1/3 or 1.33. So take off .13 and get 4.87. That made my brain hurt.

Every year alg struggles with literal equations. I’ve tried gizmos, graspable math, virtual even harder. Anyone taught them before solving equations in one variable? Maybe doing it without math would be less confusing if you hadn’t done it with solving yet? #alg1chat #iteachmath

@fawnpnguyen I do 2 for immediate eating. But when I’d make them for my kids’ lunch I’d do 1 because the PB buffer stops the bread from getting soggy from the jelly.

@jreulbach We use splash top on iPads to write on whatever is on the computer screen. Controls the mouse as well. It’s not perfect but it’s helpful in class so I can walk around during notes. Still working on how to use digitally.

First two days of virtual learning went better than I could’ve hoped. Great silly convos thanks to brilliance of this community and @desmos and a lot of great attitudes from my kids. Tonight I think I will sleep! #iteachmath

@samjshah2 I just say if you put a sock in the dryer it comes out a sock. It doesn’t come out an octopus on Tuesdays. And then every time we look and say did you make an octopus? And they remember.
