I did not lose income and my investment in my opinion has already paid for itself. It depends on your field. I did a DBA and I am a consultant, so it worked hand in hand boosting my work profile.

@AskMichaelTaiwo I don't doubt you at all. Money follows skills. I know enough young people in that ship and wrote about same thing a few years ago.

@DrJoeAbah Well, I won't go as far as saying character flaw but it does indicate that you place little or no value on those things. Could that be an issue? Yes, because you reduce opportunities to experience gratitude which is important tool for enhancing wellbeing and positive emotions.
