Amazing results: average LOS 3.5 days in hours when seen by an OT in ED vs. av LOS 5.25 days when patient admitted OOH and therapy not available

Staggeringly for MOP/med patients av. LOS 3.8 days with OT in ED vs. 11.3 days that didn’t see OT until later in pathway @UHSFT 🙌🏻

The impact of patients seen by an Occupational Therapist in ED is that patients' time in hospital is reduced by over a week (7.5 days) for medicine for older people/medicine 👏👏👏

It's no longer a question of whether but why not an OT in EDs?
