Residents at a Walnut Hills property have 25 days to vacate their homes or face eviction, during a pandemic, in the middle of winter. We need City Council to be in solidarity with the residents by posting a statement of support on their own social media. No more displacement!

These are the kinds of things happening to mostly Black residents of blighted areas in Cincinnati. Our City Council, mayor, & state Black Caucus have done little to nothing to stop Black citizens from being displaced.

Walnut Hills Residents were issued a 30 day notice-to-vacate on December 20, 2020. The landlord referenced "the need to bring the building up to current codes, as set by the city of Cincinnati," as the reason for forcing them from their homes. (1/2)
