ICC PROSECUTOR: 'IT STRONGLY APPEARS THAT MR. DUTERTE IS FEIGNING COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENTS'
Although the full medical report on Duterte's fitness level has yet to be released, the ICC prosecution noted in its comments that it is clear Duterte had deliberately underperformed in the tests administered to him.

We do not wish to be insensitive if indeed death has been established but considering that billions of pesos are involved, we call on Sec. Jonvic Remulla to check and validate if the remains of former Usec. Cathy Cabral were properly identified by the authorities concerned.
Faking death to escape criminal liability for corruption has happened before.

Ang bobo ng reasoning ni Richard Gomez!
He frames his reasoning as "concern for Alexa Larrazabal", but his way of expressing his frustration is through physical assault?
Hindi pala nya kayang i-regulate ang temper nya kapag disappointed sya!
According to PH Fencing Assoc. President Rene Gacuma's account, Gomez didn’t just argue with him but also hurt him physically.
In his letter submitted to Dr. Raul Canlas, the Chef d' Mission of the Philippine Delegation at the 2025 SEA Games, Gacuma wrote, in part:
"Atty. Mike Abundo, Mr. Chips Dayrit and myself went down from our seats in the gallery to present ourselves with the intention of also congratulating his recent silver medal achievement in the shooting event.
"When I extended my right hand to congratulate Mr. Gomez, he planted his right foot heavily on my left foot, to limit my mobility. He squeezed my right thumb very hard like he wanted to dislocate it and simultaneously said "who gave you the authority to replace that athlete!?" "Na take up ninyo ito sa Board Meeting in my (Mr. Gomez's presence) ?!" Putang ina mo Rene gago ka!"
"He turned to Mr. Chips Dayrit and said "kung buhay pa si Cito (the late Mr. Celso Dayrit) hindi niya eto papayagan. Di naman kayo champion athlete" to which Mr. Chips told Mr. Gomez "di mo kailangan bastosin ang father ko". Chips was insulted as his very own father who trailblazed the sport of fencing not only in the Philippines but in Federation Internationale d'Escrime and the Fencing Confederation of Asia was a fencer but was not a "champion athlete."
"Our PFA Administrative Officer Ms. Sally Aramburo approached the commotion (witnessed by the audience on both sides of the gallery) and stood in between myself and Mr. Gomez. I managed to release my left foot he was stepping on and as I turned my back on him to leave, he reached out to strike the back of my head (nape area) with what I felt was a hard closed-fist right hook. Let me reiterate that my back was already turned away from him.
"At that moment I felt agitated and felt my blood pressure shoot up. I was requested our Ms. Chie, a PFA staff volunteer to accompany me to the opposite side of the venue to free myself from other physical attacks at my person and sat myself where the medical station was."
----------------------------
Richard Gomez was interviewed by One PH earlier today and his “explanation” only made him look worse.
He thinks he can justify his aggression as "defense for an athlete"; as if being frustrated over the PFA's decision excuses his physical assault.
It turns out, the reasons for dropping Alexa Larrazabal was not arbitrary.
According to Gacuma, it was based on the recommendation of the national fencing coaching staff headed by Rolando "Amat" Canlas.
----------------------------
The reasons were detailed in the incident report:
1. Unauthorized and frequent absences from national training without proper advice in the past 3 months;
2. Non-compliance of the submission of required visa travel documents required on specific timelines to participate in international competitions, especially for the culminating training camp in Incheon, Korea, that was intended to attain gainful exposure and to enhance the subject athlete's level of performance for the current SEAG and;
3. Unresponsiveness to constant and repeated reminders from the national coaching staff, including from fellow teammates, regarding her whereabouts.

In other words, medyo may pagka-irresponsible pala si ate girl.
Anyway, going back to Goma:
I don't think decisions like this is not common in sports.
But, regardless of frustration, most people don’t resort to behaving like Richard Gomez did.
What’s especially pathetic is that he keeps posturing himself as a "protector of athletes" while allegedly acting what sports institutions want to restrain: AN ABUSIVE SPORTS AUTHORITY FIGURE.
Here's the thing: Richard Gomez is not a powerless parent or guardian. He is a sports official, a POC officer, and a sitting congressman (a public official!).
He knows the rules and the remedies. And, yet, instead of filing protests or invoking due process, he allegedly chose force. That is abuse of stature.
There is a CCTV footage that confirms Gacuma's claims, which means Gomez's misconducted was recorded by a camera. What the camera exposed ia a public official who can't control his anger.
This sports and public official has no business holding power or pretending he represents discipline and sportsmanship. He's the complete opposite!
Let's see if criminal and administrative cases will be filed against this abusive public official.
Self-discipline is the highest form of self-love. Master this moving into the new year. Do the things you said you would do, stick to the routines you’ve built and keep evolving towards your best self.
Thailand SEA Games is a mess. Cambodia walked out, Msia was robbed in pencak silat, an Indonesian kickboxer was assaulted & deported, Philippine gymnastics nearly got rigged lepas recalculation wiped Thailand off the podium. Thai Esports players were caught cheating. Embarrassing
DUTERTE FIT TO STAND TRIAL
JUST IN: ICC prosecutor says court-appointed experts unanimously found former PH President Rodrigo Duterte fit to stand trial, citing his ability to follow proceedings and instruct lawyers despite his age.
Duterte’s lawyers reject findings, arguing his memory issues prevent him from fully participating, and urge judges to halt the case to protect his right to a fair trial. | @TristanNodalo
I remember reading this article three months ago.
Bilyonaryo published a blind item about a “corrupt-to-the-core (CTTC)” DPWH official who allegedly amassed around ₱2.5 billion worth of prime properties.
The clues: senior DPWH position, timing during Secretary Vince Dizon’s cleanup, and the scale of the alleged assets — closely matched the circumstances surrounding Catalina Cabral, who had already resigned and was being linked to anomalous flood-control projects.
The CTTC (CttC) reference and the description of a “low-key appearance enhanced over the years” also stood out to me based on her initials (CC) and plastic surgery photos based on publicly available photos and media appearances.
These details make me think the blind item was referring to her.
If even partly true, the allegations involve billions in public funds, which is why her body needs to go through autopsy and the circumstances of her death deserve full scrutiny.
Sorry not sorry she has a point. So many who claim to value it don’t. They exploit free labor and put them down over it. Gonna have to make up your minds whether it’s valuable or not and if it’s not can’t be mad she’s clocking in or expanding her own business.
this is why I will never try to tame down new feminist anger. imagine reading this and then realizing ALL the names women get are in relation to men
