How to write an email:
Write email.
Replace apology with “thanks for your patience.”
Remove all instances of “very” and “so.”
Delete exclamation points. Okay yikes, rude. Add half back in.
You get one (1) smiley face so use it wisely!
Is “cheers” weird? Change to “best.”

I can't count the number of days where I've had to go from:
A call with a teammate who is resigning to
A call to recruit someone new
A call with a client leaving to
A sales call
A call with an investor passing to
A VC pitch
Very few skills more important than bouncing back.
"the difference between baseball & business, however, is that baseball has a truncated outcome distribution. when you swing, no matter how well you connect, the most runs you can score is 4. in business, every once in a while, when you step up to the plate, you can score 1,000."
