And this is the European Union—the same EU that lectures America about “democratic values”? Please. It’s a joke. The real question is: What is the United States going to do about it? Because #Romania isn’t just some far-off country—it’s a NATO ally. And we can’t have a strategic partner that behaves like a corrupt, third-world dictatorship.

President Trump @POTUS and the Republican administration in Washington need to step in. If the U.S. is serious about defending freedom, then it’s time to call this what it is: a coup, backed by Brussels, against the people of Romania. And we should not be funding or supporting corrupt regimes that silence real conservatives.

This is bigger than Romania. This is about the entire Western world. Are we still a civilization that believes in free elections? Or is everything rigged from the start?
