@memeticsisyphus It isn't. Whatever you do, only one car gets through at a time. It's the same. There will be a longer tailback in single file. But less arguments.
@adam_copp@MarkmarkmarkD@StuartShrugged@nickdhurt The money that bought the house had already been taxed. Taxing the house is taxing the same income twice. Wealth taxes are generally unfair for this reason, but taxes on illiquid assets are particularly unfair, as it is harder to access cash from them.
@DanNeidle@timleunig You also supported the mansion tax, which is even more unfair. I agree stamp duty is a bad tax, but I don't understand the desire to tax property at all. Tax all assets or none. But income tax is the simplest way to tax.
@DanNeidle@timleunig That's a very blasé way of dismissing concerns about fairness. Introducing a tax on land unfairly penalises holders of land relative to other assets, all the more so because land is less liquid. Why not introduce a tax on height? Also efficient in an economic sense.
@EBL2017 Fair enough as far as it goes. But if you're 1-0 down with 20 mins to go and it's not working there's no plan B. That's why you should have some flair on the bench. Palmer showed it in the Euros.
@markgoldbridge Palmer was injured for half the season and had Rosenior in charge when he returned, and a dysfunctional team. He still managed more goals and assists than Eze or Madueke. He's not had a great season by his standards but I'd still like him on the bench - he was key in the Euros.
@CFC_Jane We could also qualify for the Europa league even if Brighton win as if Liverpool beat Brentford and city beat villa then there are 6 CL spots and 7 and 8 are Europa league with 9th conference league
@Blazethecurious But you haven't explained how Bodo Glimt have been able to play CL football in a stadium with capacity of less than 9000, around 3000 less than the Vitality.
C'est une dinguerie quand j’y pense : tu peux sortir des images de n’importe quel match cette saison avec des erreurs d’arbitrage qui vont en faveur d’Arsenal.
