@DanClarkSports This is the reality of Regular Season Baseball. For competitive teams (esp. Dodgers) they can win many but lose some games. No team is invincible. Slumps almost inevitable.
@fersch_4 Risky Take: This is pretty much a retaliation against English fans (at least on the internet) who spew conspiracy theories of Argentina being helped by an organization.
@1015_julio Well to be fair, the majority of the Mets fans (at least on internet) are way more demanding for World Series glories, despite the franchise’s very limited success compared to the Bronx counterpart.

@Ben_Yoel Risky Opinion Alert:
Trading Lindor back to Cleveland makes to most sense. The Guardians are currently contending for playoffs right now. This allows the Mets to have something more in return.
@Masterflip_ Not gonna lie, I would trade Francisco Lindor back to Cleveland for prospects such as Genao, Velazquez, and Messick. This should cut the team payroll.
@Jolly_Olive If the Mets become sellers, they might trade Francisco Lindor back to Cleveland for several prospects like Angel Genao, Ralphy Velazquez, etc.
@Jolly_Olive As of now it’s too early to tell. Baseball is six months, and four if you only count towards the trade deadline.
The answer will be there three months later. If the Mets lose too many times by the deadline, the team could be sellers.
@JeffPassan If USA fails to win, I’m expecting Skubal will be heavily booed off the mound by the time the season starts. Keep that in mind that 2023 WBC was also coincides with Shohei Ohtani’s contract year.
@destiny_lugardo I agree. On paper USA has stack individual talents, but they just never click. Furthermore, American baseball fans are still “club vs club” mentality while other countries are united regardless of domestic rivalries.
