A new design pattern that's popping up: tab + dropdown
Navigational tabs mixed with complex dropdown behaviour, mimicking a mega menu! Our apps are getting so complex that we're bending traditional simplicity rules
Alternatives may include:
DropTab
PillDrop
MegaTab
PopTab
Pretty sure this is some kind of launch / bait.
Almost a year ago @BrettFromDJ announced a viral brand studio with @galshirart.
So a dramatic "AI beat me, I'm quitting design" post feels right in the same spirit.

👀
It’s over. I’m quitting design.
A client of mine just created a logo with Fable 5, and the result left me speechless.
It understood the brand story, values, audience, strategy, and turned all of it into a smart, minimal symbol. A genuinely brilliant concept. The kind of idea that captures everything at once. Something I honestly don’t think I would have come up with myself.
And it didn’t just nail the idea. It executed the design pixel-perfectly.
So I raise the white flag.
My skepticism about AI’s ability to do great design is officially gone.
There, I said it:
AI beat me at design.
Now that AI finally took my job, I can peacefully quit and dedicate my life to studying the only thing it may never achieve: human consciousness and the pathways to God.
Good luck everyone.
Ran into this workflow issue with @wisprflow a lot: when I need to add visual context or modify a specific word, I end up breaking my "Flow" to screenshot or select text.
So I had an idea: what if you could, with a shortcut, screenshot or select text at the same time you speak, so you get a more coherent output.
It took me 20 minutes to explain and prototype directly in Claude Code, first time doing some kind of live HTML animation for this kind of idea. Didn't expect that easy a result.
Would love to see this in Wispr Flow someday.
Many people asked how the World Cup posters are generated.
I wrote a breakdown of the system behind them.
It covers the chrono-grid, visual encoding, and the rules that transform a match into a poster.

Introducing frame.md, a spec built for videos & motion
design.md kept your brand consistent across screens
but when applied to videos, agents translated it back into webpages and decks
frame.md teaches your agents how to make branded video
turn your design.md into frame.md ↓
We redesigned our homepage at Mistral and a couple of more features across the product on Web and mobile.
There's so much more to come. Super excited 😎.
I also got sick of opening photoshop to create dials. so here is https://t.co/HQ1TJEWAb5 where you can create your own. Save presets. Export as png/svg.
have fun
Have you ever wondered how I make some of the illustrations for https://t.co/Em92bQM8y3?
Well, I made a video walking through some of the tooling I've made. Hopefully its interesting.
