@EHighstrete Yes this keeps me scratching my head. And if you can pay $3.5k+ for a little 2br, why not buy something in the valley? That's a mortgage payment. Is it for entertainment? Corporate housing? Surely there can't be that many Google/Apple employees in the area.
Also, apartments in that monstrous tower at LaCienega/Jefferson that will make that intersection 1000% worse are starting at $2700 for a 465sqft studio. It is near a ghetto target and an industrial center, but I guess.
@EHighstrete There is going to be a Whole Foods in the basement but driving and parking will be bad so I guess that will be nice for residents. I live about 5 minutes down LaCienega, and would only go to Playa Vista if I'm going to WF.
@EHighstrete We figured the Expo line was the thing there but that gives so few options - so these high salaried people will all work in DT or Santa Monica? There isn't going to be anything else in the middle there. Rich USC kids? They'd live closer to campus.
Stuff seen while living in a major city I can't get with - Indeed postings that require 10+ years of specialized experience with degrees/certs, starting at $65k a year. Dude, this ain't Cleveland, come on, you gotta do better than this.
As a pure 100% milennial, I am obsessed with the term "cheugy." I just get this... and I'm gonna help make it uncool and use it un ironically because I love Gen Z a lot #cheugy#girlboss#butfirstcoffee#livelaughlove
Too many guy friends have said "I prefer long hair but you look nice" to me in the last 24 hours. I know I don't need male evaluation for anything I do but yikes.
So I chopped off all my hair yesterday and now that the initial excitement about a new look has settled I'm now facing the reality of taking years to grow it all back. Fuck.
