A streamer says Microsoft permanently deleted his 25-year-old Microsoft account after it was hacked, locking him out of everything connected to it.

According to him, hackers took over the account and changed the recovery details. Even after contacting Microsoft support and providing evidence of ownership, he says he was told the account could not be recovered and was eventually deleted.

The account included:

- 25 years of Xbox history
- Thousands of dollars’ worth of digital games and purchases
- Outlook emails
- OneDrive files and family photos, including baby pictures of his son
- Other Microsoft services tied to the account

@JoshuaKhane Lost 15 years worth of data cuz some guy breached my account and changed the account email.

I appealed and provided proofs of my ownership, receipts, actual emails proving the account opening.

Microsoft never budged, they don’t care about their user base.

Valve is getting praise after helping a first-time indie developer instead of rejecting their game at the last minute.

The developer accidentally uploaded a broken build that wouldn’t launch just before the Steam Next Fest deadline.

Instead of rejecting it, a Steam reviewer found the problem, fixed the game’s configuration, and approved the build in time for the event.

Other indie developers also shared that Valve has done the same for their games
