Caleb Williams on the severity of his injury:
"It was a hamstring tear and a pretty serious one."
"Yea we got a grade, but I wouldn't say it's deserved to be put out there after all the false ones, so."
Every patient at the University of Iowa Stead’s Family Children’s Hospital received this from the Ohio State Football head coach, we’re excited to wave back at you!
I think the starkest contrast between Mike and Chris is that Mike ran his businesses like he was an owner while Chris runs the businesses like he’s an employee
25 years ago, a group of men from the Detroit Fire Department traveled to New York to help in any way they could!
Detroit Firefighter (now retired) Chuck Gerardy told me the city did NOT want them to go because they were unsure if anything was going to happen in Detroit.
So the men took vacation time and sick time in order to go but they had no resources.
That’s when Mike Ilitch (Tigers/Red Wings/Little Caesar’s owner) and Walter Wolpin (Great Lakes Distribution) stepped in and wrote a blank check so the firefighters could go get whatever they needed to go. AIS Construction in Richmond Michigan donated supplies too.
The firefighters loaded up 2 big trucks and made their way to NYC.
All of them are HEROES!!! #NeverForget 🇺🇸
i do think this kinda shit should be legally treated as the equivalent of walking down the street with a revolver playing russian roulette with random non-consenting pedestrians both in that it's assault with a deadly weapon and that anyone can just shoot u for doing it
"A guy looked at my airplane the other day and said I wonder how many people I could have fed for the price of that airplane...
I replied I am not sure, it fed a lot of families at the Dassault factory where it was built. I’m sure it fed a bunch of families that rolled the aluminum at the Alcoa factory. It surely fed a lot of people at the Honeywell factory where the experts built the turbines. It fed a whole company for a few weeks when I had them build me a new interior. It feeds the families of the linemen that fuel it.
That’s the difference between capitalism and a welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people's pockets, and give them dignity for their skills.
When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self worth.
Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.
Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for."
Wait so the guy who's always screaming about taxes and oligarchs and 'hoarding wealth' lives in a $6m home with a four story elevator (that he's moving out of because he bought an even bigger one) and his pre-teen children own THREE golf courses and have a major stake in a $65 BILLION DOLLAR wealth management fund? And up to $73 million in irrevocable trusts that cannot be taxed?
All of which he inherited himself from his father who built an auto parts empire in Cleveland?
Once you understand that all of the socialists are actually just spoiled rich kids who hate everything, it all makes a lot more sense.
