@PodcastNow23 No real person does thought…Id guess most are bots paid to promote it. You can say it looks more “photorealistic” but with that uncanny gleam over it…looks terrible and is such a major step back in the industry
very funny how I’ve had this exact experience several times and it’s maybe the most human moment in the whole showcase and these incels online think it’s unrealistic
Me: “she didn’t have post partum psychosis”
Them: “you’re not a doctor”
Me: “you’re right. But I actually watched the trial. And of the SEVEN doctors this woman went to in the four months before she brutally murdered her kids, NOT ONE diagnosed her with post partum psychosis or psychosis of any kind.
Not ONE.
SEVEN DOCTORS.
So yeah. I’m sure ALL those doctors were wrong in their diagnosis and TikTok wine moms are the “real” experts here. FFS.
🚨 BREAKING: The Lindsay Clancy jury has been DISMISSED for the weekend, as they've reached NO VERDICT after two days of deliberating
This is RIDICULOUS. This is NOT a difficult case.
Lindsay Clancy MURDERED her three children. Simple as that. What is the hangup?!
GTA 6 Technical Details from Digital Foundry:
- GTA 6 is running at native 1440p and 30 FPS on a base PS5.
- The footage appears to stay at 1440p without constantly changing resolution.
- The game uses ray-traced reflections on things like cars, glass and characters.
- Lighting has been massively improved, with light realistically bouncing around rooms, streets and characters.
- Shadows are also much more detailed than in previous Rockstar games.
- Hair is one of the biggest visual upgrades, with much more realistic movement, lighting and detail.
- NPCs are a huge part of the technical leap, with far more people on screen and much more going on around the player.
- The 30 FPS performance looked mostly stable throughout the Extended Look.
- Some camera movement can still look slightly uneven even when the frame rate is stable.
- Fine details can sometimes look a little soft or shimmer in the distance.
- PS5 Pro should be able to improve image quality and ray tracing compared to the base PS5.
- A future PC version could push the visuals even further with higher resolution, better ray tracing and longer draw distances.
- Running GTA 6 at 60 FPS on PC could still require a very powerful CPU because of how much the game is simulating at once.
- Digital Foundry called it potentially one of the most impressive examples of real-time graphics they have ever seen.
@GameRoll_ That’s what the game is for though. I’d rather actually discover Jason and Lucia through the story than have Rockstar “sell” their entire personalities in trailers. People moaned about Arthur before RDR2 too, then actually played the game and loved him. The Extended Look was good
@Allan_Walton Good work Allan! As with every title you guys release, you deserve all the praise! Enjoy this, and then redouble it for the next game :) Cant wait for November
@TylariousYT@Lady_Tarnished PSSR 2.0 does not “upconvert 30fps to 60fps.” It’s an AI upscaler. It reconstructs resolution from a lower internal render, which can free GPU headroom, but it doesn’t double CPU performance or generate the missing frames. You’re confusing upscaling with frame generation.
@TylariousYT 30 FPS isn’t an L, it’s pretty much what should be expected if GTA VI is heavily CPU-bound by its world simulation. Lowering resolution or using reconstruction can free GPU headroom, but it doesn’t suddenly double CPU performance. The PS5 Pro barely changes that either.
