I am an academic engrossed in the nexus between social policy and psychology. My focus is on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. The right to have rights.
I like how Ambassador Mutsvangwa delivered a well articulated address on history & facts to South Africans regarding the treatment of foreign nationals. His presentation was clear, factual, and left a strong impression. The presenter had no words to say!!! Well done 👏 Ambassador
South Africans want to fix their country. We will all be here. The arrest of March and March leaders. Jacinta who later became Zuma will be arrested soon.
SOUTH AFRICA XENOPHOBIA: Nigerian Man Refuses to Shut Down Business, Says He Employs Over 25 South Africans
A Nigerian businessman has stood his ground amid ongoing anti-immigrant tensions in South Africa, insisting that he will not close his shop😭😭
🚨 SHOCKING: "DON'T BLAME FOREIGNERS... BLAME US?"
President Cyril Ramaphosa says foreign nationals should not be blamed for crime and unemployment, arguing that the real problems are inequality and slow economic growth.
If that's the case, then isn't he indirectly admitting that government policies and years of poor economic performance are the real reasons South Africans are struggling to find work?
For years the ANC has been in charge of the economy, job creation and border management. If unemployment is caused by slow growth and inequality, then surely accountability starts with those who have been governing.
Do you agree with the President, or do you think both illegal immigration and government failures have contributed to the unemployment crisis?
Let's discuss. 🇿🇦
“Majority of South artists who perform on the African continent are seeing their gigs getting cancelled. One artist reached out to me and said all her gigs were cancelled.” - South Africa Justice Minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi
President Mbeki’s observations on xenophobia touch a sensitive but vital nerve in the African conscience. They echo a point I made in my post a day ago: Africa cannot aspire to continental unity while permitting divisions among Africans themselves. Xenophobia is, in many respects, a betrayal of the Pan-African ideal. The challenge before us is not merely to open borders, but to open minds. A continent that seeks a common destiny must learn to embrace its own diversity. Mbeki’s intervention is therefore not only timely; it is a reminder that Africa’s greatest struggle may be less about geography and more about solidarity.
@GaytonMcK Because you call yourself coloured that’s why you talk like that, a sign of identity crisis. African solidarity is important to black Africans
@sholard_mancity The day you will have a ose friend or close relative knifed to death because they don't look South African, you will withdraw this statement.
@Vxebo_ It's so sad you think like that. What do you is in the mind of Africans seeing South Africans being g accompanied by police to clobber and murder fellow Africans?
