Saying "in this fic I'm exploring a cis version of Jax" is not the same as ingoring the fact the creators intent was for them to be trans. Nor hating on trans identity. That's fan fiction.

@DevMajorAbel @MissingMilqBun I gotta say I entirely disagree. I think that tag is useful to people who enjoy reading about a cis version of the character, and useful for people who don't want to see a non-trans version as they can then make an informed choice of what they're reading.

@MissingMilqBun Goose has actively said people can do "whatever they want" with regards to having headcannons etc. The entire purpose of *fan* fiction is featuring content which is not directly featured in the show.

People can have and enjoy different understandings/versions of the character.
