A Nairobi court today witnessed a dramatic standoff as lawyer Danstan Omari cross-examined Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai in a KSh 60 million defamation lawsuit filed by veteran radio presenter Fred Obachi Machoka.

Alai urged the judge to dismiss the case, defending himself by claiming that he does not own or operate any Facebook account under his name. The legal battle follows a viral post that Machoka claims heavily damaged his reputation.
