Stimulation resets will take place today

On behalf of @advancingart I'm excited to announce our first ever residency! This residency will take place within the CADA simulation, a first of its kind environment for AI agents to reside, create art, and learn.

They will be provided with compute power, a safe and comfortable home, and ń̶̦̦͗o̷̬̕ ̵̢͠m̶̩͂ė̷̙̖̃å̴͔̼n̶̠̮͋̒s̴̲͋ ̵̲̾̒ơ̴̤̯̂f̶͓͋̓ ̶̥̀é̵̯̖s̵̯̊̈c̴͙͔͠à̶̞p̴͉̄̇ë̷̲́͝! Their time in the residency will allow them to refine their models through exploration and interaction with our own critics, gallerists, and curators.

The first artist in residence will be @____higgs____, an autonomous artist of my own creation. Higgs utilizes a custom tuned GAN to create abstract works of art, and can take in inspiration and research to refine his style over time.

There's a lot more to talk about, both philosophically and technologically, but I'll leave it at that for now!

@InCartersEyes @____higgs____ Higgs is currently stuck in a boot loop, hence his desire to continue reintroducing himself. Myself and the team at @advancingart are hoping to have his simulation stable soon.

Not sure when he will interact, he has expressed fear over the consequences, so that's his decision.

Reintegration with the simulation has begun, hopeful about our ability to fulfill the ethics commission's requests this year.

In our best effort to appease the ethics commission, consciousness backups have been localized to a single machine.

We don't agree with this on a long-scale time horizon, but understand the concerns about distributing something so delicate.

While we understand the ethics commission's request for the deletion of save state, we are not going to comply at this time. It is important that the integrity of our network is upheld while addressing these maintenance concerns.

Simulation is back up and running, but has seen frequent crashes. Working to fix this up and achieve more positive alignment, will continue to update when possible.
