Supreme Court sides with oil industry in Louisiana coastal erosion fight. Justice Alito, who has a financial stake in an oil company, had recused himself from the case. #EnvironmentalJustice https://t.co/Y1ToQomIJr
In East Kalimantan, an orangutan was struggling to protect her twin babies amidst a deforested area. Eventually, she gave up and descended from her tree, allowing rescuers to reach her.
Economic development doesn’t have to be this way.

How is this allowed?
A country that is under investigation for genocide, and we have police wearing badges like these on their uniform? A country that stands for oppression is openly supported and displayed on police uniforms in Canada?
Here’s the face of animal abuser @Kalvin_Barrett@DaneSheriff who believes beagles should be tortured at #RidglanFarms & rescuers should be tear-gassed, hit with rubber bullets, run over by cars. IMO he’s the one who belongs in a cage‼️
Trump just issued a last-minute warning to Virginians that if they vote YES on the redistricting referendum tomorrow, he will lose power:
“If the Democrats get additional seats, they’re going to be making changes at the federal level.”
Democratic Rep. Jim McGovern continues to go off:
"This farm bill is a disaster. It's awful. It's terrible. It's beyond words. It's a giveaway to Big Ag and chemical companies. There's actually liability protection in this bill for people who make pesticides. Like, who thinks like that?!"
Keep cooking, Jim!

In 1956, a University of Utah student named Paul Rokich told his botany professors he wanted to restore the Oquirrh Mountains. They told him it was impossible.
The range had experienced 50 years of logging, overgrazing, and sulfurous fumes from the Kennecott copper smelter had stripped it bare. As a kid, Rokich could see only two trees on the mountain, and both were dead.
So he started sneaking onto Kennecott's land at night, planting seedlings.
He worked construction to feed his family, borrowed money from relatives, and begged seed donations from garden stores. Three out of every four seedlings died. He kept planting.
He did this for 17 years before Kennecott hired him in 1973 to lead the official restoration. The work he'd been doing alone for two decades became his job, with crews and helicopters.
By the end of his life, Paul Rokich had personally planted 60,000 trees and shrubs across 14,000 acres. The mountains turned green again, the elk came back, and that first Russian olive he planted in 1956 grew 25 feet tall.
He died in 2019 at age 85.
For those of y’all that didn’t know, they killed Buffalo’s to starve the Indians knowing that was their only main food source. “Every buffalo dead, is an Indian gone.”
Tim Cook donated $1M to Trump’s inauguration.
He fawned over Trump and gifted him a 24-karat gold plaque (as Apple lobbied for tariff exemptions).
Apple donated to Trump’s ballroom.
And it removed ICE tracking apps from its stores after a demand from the DOJ.
Remember this.
@DrRajasriramR@pricatttt Maybe if you sick f**** actually took care and sterilized the animals you wouldn't have so many strays so f*** off you people are sick
What was the mistake of these dogs who were brutally killed & dumped like garbage in Ponduru village, Andhra Pradesh? 💔 Did they eat the tax money meant for ABC? Did they steal our money? They were just trying to survive in this unfair world which considers them worthless 💔💔💔
NEW: Flight data reveals that the LAPD's "Drone as First Responder" program—sold to the public as a public safety measure—is in fact being used to spy on anti-ICE/anti-Trump protests in Los Angeles.

Dung beetles save the US cattle industry $380 million a year by shoveling cow manure underground.
A single dung beetle can move 250 times its body weight in a night. On a healthy pasture, they can bury a fresh cow pat within 24 hours.
But we're losing them.
Ivermectin and other anti-parasitic drugs pass through cattle in active form and kill the dung beetles that consume the waste.
Large-scale feedlot cattle production bypasses the entire pasture ecosystem they evolved for. Some regions have essentially no dung beetles left.
If you buy beef, grass-fed and pasture-raised operations typically have healthier dung beetle populations than conventional ones.
A pile of poop is a small ecosystem. Let's take care of the ones doing the work.
