3. This defense is going to be more versatile

The Bears caused a lot of confusion today.

Different looks. Unblocked pressure. Disguised coverage. Showing pressure and backing out.

That’s what makes life hard on QBs when the picture changes after the snap.

2. Zavion Thomas looks like a real WR

Not just a returner. Not just a gadget guy.

He’s quick, explosive, runs good routes and has natural hands. You can see the burst and confidence growing.

Development: Giants edge Abdul Carter had his entire left shoe and sock off, and he’s being examined by trainers. He is limping VERY gingerly off to the side.

I didn’t see it happen, but Carter got banged up during this practice. He just limped into the indoor field as practice continues outside
