Thank you all for your support, feedback, and encouragement as I continue sharing primary science teaching resources and educational content.
Let's keep growing and learning together! 🌟

Year 1 worked very hard in science today and used scientific vocabulary to investigate and sort waterproof and absorbent materials. They discovered that plastic is the best material for a raincoat @advisoryscience
Beautiful classification work. We underestimate how much pupils juggle in an investigation: collecting carefully, observing closely, then matching features to identify. Year 4 are doing real thinking here. Thank you for sharing.
Year 4 had a great time exploring and identifying invertebrates in the school yard for Science. They used pooters to collect them and magnifying glasses to observe each one up close. Afterwards, they used their iPads to research and try to identify the mini beasts they found!

I love how the sentence frames are included in the display! Opportunities for talk are so important. Brilliant sensory exploration of science and vocabulary. 🌟
Love this. 🌟 The eggshell makes it easy to see how acid can wear things down, the same way enamel softens when bacteria use sugar and produce acid. Sadly it doesn’t stop cola lovers like me! 🫠😂
So delighted to see this—absolutely made my morning! The focus and curiosity on their faces is brilliant. They’re really learning to look beyond the surface. Really proud to support your science adventures thorough #HEPScience. Can’t wait to see what they explore next! 🌟
Brilliant to see this in action! Year 5 are doing fantastic work with data representation. Thank you for continuing to share your excellent practice with us. 📊✨
Brilliant teamwork, Year 6! 🔦 Exploring Euclid’s theory through hands-on investigation is such a powerful way to learn. Scientific enquiry in action! Great to see those straight-line light paths and collaborative problem solving! 👏💡
This looks amazing, Year 4! 🔥 I love how you’ve combined creativity with real science—designing your ultimate predators must have sparked some fantastic discussions about adaptation and survival. Well done to everyone for thinking like scientists (and top inventors)! #HEPScience
Such a hands-on way to explore the natural world 🌼
Lovely to see Year 1 identifying and naming plants on the move — careful observation and fieldwork at its best. Thanks for making the resource your own! #HEPScience
Brilliant to see this in action — pupils testing materials through FUN enquiry and sorting conductors and insulators with real focus. Thanks for bringing the resource to life so beautifully! #HEPScience
⚡️We have been learning all about electricity in science! We have investigated static electricity and have been able to connect circuits to test different materials, finding conductors and insulators! ⚡️@MabLanePri@advisoryscience
Thrilled to see HEP Science in action! Year 5 at Mab Lane Primary. YEAR 5 quickly realised a gas is produced, allowing the ‘volcano’ to erupt! Love seeing our curriculum spark real scientific curiosity in the classroom. 🌋✨

Year 5 experimented with changing variables when mixing bicarbonate of soda with a vinegar solution. They quickly realised a gas is produced allowing the ‘volcano’ to errupt!

🌱 Just finished our first Year 2 storybook! "Zhi Grows a Plant" teaches plant life cycles through phonically decodable text and simple sentence structures. From seeds to flowers - science learning that builds reading confidence too! 📖
