I got this as a strong hunch and want to warn:

The DS will blatantly and visibly use social media in the war against India. It will also at the same time use social media to incite Indians to call for a "Ban" on social media.

If India doesn't do the ban, it will escalate like this - restricting even PM Modi to incite more. The idea is to incite so much that India takes the step of a ban. And that's their plan.

As a sudden ban can be used to spread protests, anarchy, and violence. And storming of institutions calling it Gen-Z revolution.

We have seen this playbook before. In BD and Nepal. India must tread carefully here. Knee-jerk reactions and blanket bans can be weaponized. There will definitely be some people who may file cases in courts asking for such a ban.

They are already spreading rumors that India is going to do it and inciting the young via social media. Keeping this in mind, hope @PMOIndia analyzes this angle with experts, takes the right decision, and keeps ministries in loop.

It will take just one judge to pass some order, and one official from a ministry to do something drastic, and that can be misused by the DS to incite young India into anarchy again.

Some facts: about 90% of our revenue comes from outside India, won against tough global competition.

About 2% of our revenue is from the government and when we do business with the government, we always save the taxpayer money, which we have the utmost respect for. We are also among the largest tax payers in our region.

I have never asked for a favor from the government and I never will. When asked for advice, I provide it and I do it independent of political ideology - the Kerala Startup Mission, when the Left Front government was in power, wanted my advice. I told them Keralam has the potential to be a major R&D hub of India. Since then, we have invested in numerous R&D driven statups in Keralam.

In Tamil Nadu, our Chief Minister has made a great new beginning and I am happy to support his effort. It is not because of political ideology but because I want good things to happen in Tamil Nadu.

I love our nation, and I speak my mind. I will not bow down to attacks nor threats. The attacks make us stronger and help us achieve greater success.

Who would have thought that India's FCRA would unite both parties in the USA?

In USA, members of both the Democratic and Republican parties on Capitol Hill have raised objections to the proposed changes to India’s Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).

Under FCRA rules, an organisation whose registration is cancelled or ceases to be valid cannot receive foreign funding.

This has also impacted those missionary organisations that were engaged in religious conversion activities, as the loss of FCRA registration and foreign funding has significantly curtailed their ability to carry out such activities.

In the coming days, expect a barrage of articles, commentaries, and carefully crafted narratives not only from the USA but from across the Western world portraying India as a country where religious freedom is disappearing, NGOs are being choked, and human rights voices are being suppressed. The playbook is already unfolding.
