sad. so sad. now players on both sides have experienced a deep betrayal from ppg that will never truly be made right again.

what lads supposedly offers is a secure, valued companionship with your LI of choice, but ppg has single-handedly shattered this sense of security by showing, either intentionally or unintentionally that:

1) sylus and caleb mains’ companionship with our LI are not valued. the company has the production capacity to make a new LI, but when it comes to the missing bond story content, 4* cards and MS branch, suddenly they don’t have the resources for it? clearly, our companionship with our LIs were not valuable enough to be worked on. AND

2) by halting development on the 6th LI, the company has also shown that they can take back a developed character before his launch.

so now, every single player feels like there’s no sense of security at all, in a game where feeling secure with your LI is key. 👍🏻 what pisses me off is that this is clearly incompetence on the part of ppg, but their choice to halt development on the 6th halfway shifts the blame onto the “crazy Chinese fans” (but when redeeming the free 20 pulls, it’s “thank you CN jiejies!” yeah?)

a company who cares about creating long-lasting companionships would NOT choose to debut a brand new character with miniscule foreshadowing, when 2/5 of their playerbase are already largely unhappy with their treatment of companionship. a company who cares about their characters would do their best to make sure that their 6th LI debuts in an environment where he is loved.

instead, the players who spoke up shoulder the blame and all the pity goes towards ppg. poor, poor ppg who was bullied to the point of cancelling the character they worked on! but who will pity the players whose trust has been broken? who will pity the fanartists who made art despite the hate, the writers who worked hard on him despite the shoddy foundation given to them? 💔
