The current dating scene lacks curiosity. Why not find out why an adult chooses to live/ do what they do before judging them by some arbitrary standards?
A lady once told me she rejected a man she genuinely liked because he was 32 and still living with his parents
Her argument was simple: “I'm not going to marry a grown man and start teaching him how to be independent.”
The man had a good job, dressed well, took her on dates, and never asked her for money
But the moment she discovered he lived with his parents, she started seeing him differently.
She asked him when he planned to get his own place.
He told her he could afford one but didn't see the point of spending money on rent when his parents needed his help
She wasn't convinced.
She told him she wanted a man who had built his own life, not someone who was still living under his parents' roof.
He didn't beg her to reconsider. He simply wished her well, and they went their separate ways.
Six months later, she was dating another man who owned an apartment and drove a nice car. She felt she'd made the right decision.
Then one afternoon, she ran into her former date at a supermarket. He was with a little boy who kept calling him Dad.
Curious, she asked about the child.
Dear Kenyans,
As you focus on elections and manifestos the ruling billionaire class is taking ownership of water, energy, land, forestry and ecosystems very seriously. You will vote, own nothing and be happy.
If you want to play badminton Nairobi Jeffery's has an indoor court.
350 per person per hour(700 bob).
You can rent out racquets if you're not bringing yours at 200 bob each.
Putting this here because I couldn't find enough details online before going
@Imonaar Niliskia alifanyiwa ile kitu na diddy na w smith, introduced to it as a kid coming up because his mom was promised a show or a book deal, allegedly.
Hi Nyakundi,
A little over a week ago, Dangote's group quietly picked up 24.76% of Kenya Pipeline Company in a $327m block trade on the NSE. That made him the second-largest shareholder after the government.
Four weeks before that, he broke ground in Lamu on a 700,000 barrels-a-day refinery. It comes with its own 1,000 MW power plant running on petcoke from the refinery.
Half of that power feeds the refinery.
The other 500 MW, about a fifth of our national peak demand, is meant for the Kenyan grid.
Now I'm hearing from people close to the deals that a capital vehicle associated with him is consolidating to take a major strategic stake in KPLC.
Think about what that means.
The refinery makes the fuel. KPC moves the fuel. The Lamu plant generates the power. KPLC buys the power and sells it to every home and factory in this country.
If this goes through, one group will sit on almost every link of Kenya's energy chain, from the crude coming into Lamu to the meter on your wall.
This is not a Dangote problem.
The man is doing what great industrialists do: he buys whole supply chains, not single assets.
The question is for us. Who in government is asking what happens when the seller of power, the mover of fuel and the buyer of electricity answer to the same boardroom?
Watch KPLC.
The High Court has ruled that personal branding of projects funded by public resources violates the Constitution.
The court has ordered the removal of politicians’ names and personal branding from publicly funded projects
This building is in Eldoret, it is a 2007/08 PEV landmark. It belongs to an Engineer and he promised not to demolish or sell the land to remind people how bad post election violence is.. it reminds him how his own neighbours were willing to kill him for elections result that he didn’t participate in counting, declaration or rigging.
@missykeyna@Nyamisa_Chela Smh i see that and it’s shameful. Gay men remind hetero men that it can also be them, just like how women are graped they’re afraid it’ll be them hence the aggression
