Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?

Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?

Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?

This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.

पिछले कुछ दिनों से जिस तरह कि व्यवस्थाएँ देख रहा हूँ, मेरा निष्कर्ष यही निकला है कि यदि आपके पास पैसे हो तो वारंटी के चक्कर में ना पड़ें। @jagograhakjago मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत समस्या-समाधान का जो भी तंत्र हो, पर ब्रांड और सेवादाता कंपनियों पर इनका कोई नियंत्रण नहीं है।

मुझे तो कुछ लोग जानते हैं, तो यहाँ टैग करता हूँ तो काम होने की संभावना बढ़ जाती है, पर सत्य यह है कि इस विषय में मंत्रालय, सरकार, कंपनियाँ, सर्विस सेंटर सब हरामी हैं। और आप सर पटक कर मर जाओगे, कुछ नहीं होगा।

@RelianceDigital से 3 AC लिए थे, तो वहाँ विकल्प था कि एक भुगतान के उपरांत 5 वर्ष की वारंटी मिलेगी। मैंने ले ली। इनका ResQ ऐप कभी काम नहीं करता। आप यदि रिलायंस में किसी को जानते हैं, तब आपका काम होगा, वरना सर्विस कब कम्पलीट बता दी जाती है, पता भी नहीं चलता।

दूसरा चक्कर है कि @MyLloydIndia का AC है, तो वो रिलायंस वालों के टेक्निशियन द्वारा उठायी समस्या का निवारण करने से पहले (जिसमें रिलायंस ने 8 दिन लिए), अपने टेक्निशियन को भेज कर यह देखने की बात करेंगे कि वही समस्या है या नहीं। इसमें भी, यदि आप किसी को जानते हों या मेरी तरह २० लाख फ़ॉलोवर्स हों, तब वो थोड़ा रिस्पांस देते हैं, वरना झेलते रहिए।

@havellsindia ने 7 दिन पहले मुझे एक रेफरेंस नंबर दिया, आज बोल रहे हैं कि वो हमने कब दिया? मेरे पास मेसेज है। इन्होंने कोई विजिट नहीं कराया, कॉल नहीं की। बस X पर पोस्ट देख कर तेल लगा रहे हैं कि प्रायोरिटी पर काम होगा। घंटा नहीं हो रहा काम!

अंततः, मैंने 8 दिन झेलने के बाद तय किया कि लोकल टेक्निशियन को बुलाओ, पैसे दो और सर दर्द ख़त्म करो। मान लो कि मंत्रालय, सरकार, न्यायपालिका सब केवल इसका लाभ लेती है कि कौन इतना लंबा लड़ेगा। और यह सत्य है कि मैं नहीं लड़ सकता, मुझे स्क्रिप्ट लिखनी है, शूट करना है। मेरे लिए मेरे समय का महत्व है।

और तो और, जब रिलायंस के टेक्निशियन आपके AC को खोलते हैं, तो वह वस्तुतः हिंसा कर रहे होते हैं उसके साथ। मेरे एक AC को सर्विस करने आए तो उसका लॉक तोड़ दिया। फिर लॉक ठीक नहीं हो पाया, दोबारा खोला तो बजर और डिस्प्ले खराब कर दिया। फिर बोले कि आधे दाम पर AC हमें दे दो यदि इतनी ही समस्या है तो।

फिर मैंने टेप से चिपका कर, टूटे कवर से हो रही आवाज़ को कम कर दिया है। अब मैं उसकी शिकायत नहीं करता।

This is the condition of one of India's largest and busiest railway stations, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Uttar Pradesh.

The BJP is in power both at the Centre and in the state, so I'm wondering what's stopping the authorities from cleaning up this mess.
