Pythia=Performance Assurance: Verbally plays, step-by-step work instructions, to earphones, handsfree, & reports completion times by STEP and user feedback.
Black Belts: Performance "Data" captured via the stopwatch & observation technique is mostly unreliable, often biased, and highly inefficient. Now capture it automatically across all workers and processes, all the time, globally; it's valid, unbiased, reliable, & saves time!
@guywwallace Few take responsibility & accountability for performance enablement ("Learning" is a subtask), performance assurance (guaranteeing satisfactory performance happens), and continuous improvement (6 sigma, Kaizen, lean...). It's easier to be responsible & accountable to learning.
It's time to improve 6 Sigma/DMAIC processes!
-Automatically capture performance intervals across
many processes simultaneously, not one by one
-Greatly reduce or eliminate manual time study
-Improve data validity, reliability, and eliminate bias
-More time for MAI
@ITCeLearning Our goal is performance; not learning. Some task & jobs are unlearnable. R & to a degree U are products of spaced repetition. So, we start with an overview U, then AP/U via step-by-step instructions delivered on demand, R- follows if memorable, AN/E immediately post AP, then C.
@JD_Dillon Operations training is separate because they are responsible and accountable for enabling and continuously improving performance; they focus on measurable performance and return on investment. The other areas are only responsible and accountable for learning. Big difference.
@sladetim Suggestions: 1) How to develop what a client needs instead of what they want. In other words, how to assure quality without proper Analysis or time to Design, Implement or Evaluate. 2) How to assure performance. 3) How to evaluate post-training performance & training impact.
@stipton@stellacollins@LearningRebels YES! Address performance not learning. I'm ready to start talking about replacing "Learning Organizations" with "Performance Organizations".
@stipton@LearningRebels Hi Shannon. I'd love to chat about "unlearnable" tasks and jobs and how the number of each is ready to explode thanks to accelerating innovation and change. (We can't learn processes that change too fast, have too many steps, are performed too infrequently...)
@JD_Dillon Good question! Followup question: Why are you focused on delivering training, measuring learning, and only taking responsibility & accountability when the business needs you to deliver, measure, and be responsible & accountable for performance?
@JD_Dillon Hi JD/Fellow front line advocate! Let's chat. Our mobile performance assurance system delivers work instructions step-by-step, verbally, on demand, hands free, globally & captures valid, unbiased, reliable performance data as people work. https://t.co/5xvSURJeVW
@CLOmedia The "Learning Organization" concept is 30 years old and it's time to shift focus from Learning to Performance because... No business buys learning because they need learning; they need PERFORMANCE!
@Totalbartending Hey! We're committed to better bartender education, too! Put your recipes into our system. We verbally deliver them step-by-step, hands free and report the time spent on each step -for coaching/continuous improvement purposes. Watch this. https://t.co/YhfbxQ0gUB
@paramountplus No thanks. I'm from Rochester Hills, MI (her home town) -the one she called "provincial". Went to see her in Detroit at Ford Field once; she showed up 2 hours late, did a 1/2-assed performance, & left without an encore.
Replace learning with PERFORMANCE ASSURANCE! We can verbally deliver your work instructions step-by-step, on demand, hands free, globally, then report how long it took users to complete each step along with their continuous improvement feedback. https://t.co/5xvSURJeVW
@TaraMeetsWorld @SmashingPumpkin Took my 23 year old last year. Of course she grew up hearing Pisces Iscariot, Siamese Dream... Unfortunately, their show sUcKeD!
