@HUGOBOSS@RussellAthletic Hey, thanks for funding #concentrationcamps in #Xinjiang. Think your customers from other markets deserve to know that you are a two-faced company with no integrity. https://t.co/CfmatOZ7TN
On Wednesday, Hong Kong police appeared to follow through on that threat, reportedly arresting dozens primary candidates in an early morning sweep, raiding homes across the city, as well as several media outlets and a law firm.
The sweeping arrests of pro-democracy demonstrators are an assault on those bravely advocating for universal rights. The Biden-Harris administration will stand with the people of Hong Kong and against Beijing’s crackdown on democracy. https://t.co/nSj8dr3OEg
Another academic paper just got reviewed. 4 reviewers, unbelievable. One of the reviewers requests me to add Mandarin Pinyin and remove all colonialism-related wordings. Perhaps he or she is from China?
My answer to the requests is NO.

#TikTok has been surveilling its users, caught by #Apple twice this year. It is, thanks to #China's law, under a compulsion to spy, and apparently it was doing so. That is, by itself, enough reason to ban it.
@TheAtlantic@TMclaughlin3 A lot of us here in HK feel that SCMP is highly pro-Beijing. It saddens me as it used to be the paper all students read to learn not only English, but societal issues, politics and critical thinking. Not sure if it’s what our young should read now

I've seen people standing up for black lives not only across this nation but in Iran, Berlin, and now New Zealand. Even the Amish have sung songs and carried #blacklivesmatter banners. Let's keep raising our voices until the whole world hears and responds.
The golden hour gets a lot of hype, and rightfully so, but the blue hour—the sliver of time just before sunrise or just after sunsetis stunning in its own right. These pics of Hong Kong during that time prove as much: https://t.co/2dzUrDt5HG

@Sam_Zo_ At least the officer in the US is charged with murder. The exact same thing happened here in Hong Kong but ours didn’t even bother to start an investigation.
